Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay in this charming hotel with a fantastic view over the water. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for my needs. However, the breakfast service was a bit rushed, and a few areas of the hotel felt cramped. Overall, it was great value for money at £68 for bed and breakfast.
The hotel offers stunning views over the port, making it a nice spot for a short stay. My room was tiny but comfortable, and the restaurant served delicious meals, notably the shrimp cocktail and sirloin steak. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the room curtains didn't block out enough light at night, which was a bit inconvenient. The overall presentation of the buffet and the worn dining chairs could use some attention.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were spacious and tidy with a pleasant vibe, the dining situation left something to be desired due to limited food options and some service hiccups. Still, the views from the rooms were fantastic, and the location was great for exploring the town. For the price we paid, it felt like decent value for a three-star stay.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The views over the sea were stunning, but the overall maintenance left a lot to be desired. The rooms were somewhat comfortable, but the décor felt dated, and breakfast was hit or miss with some issues in service. The location is fantastic, right by the water, but the noise from the nearby ferry terminal was quite disruptive.
The hotel has a charming, older character and is clean, with comfortable rooms that offer stunning views of the sea. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Lerwick. However, some areas need investment, and the dining experience can feel a bit cramped at times. Overall, it's a solid choice if you value character over modern luxury.
